About Me

In 2023, I was seriously injured in a car accident— leaving me in the hospital for a month with seven broken bones and in need of multiple surgeries, which meant more long hospital stays and time away from my puppy. To ease her separation anxiety, I knitted her a small blanket, something personal to remind her of me. I also knitted a matching one for myself hoping it might help me feel less homesick while I was away in the hospital. 

That simple act inspired Healing Stitch by Stitch.
